This is an important archeological discovery in understanding the situation of the Yeongsangang River area during the Three Kingdoms period. The floor of the stone chamber yielded numerous metal artifacts, including silver crown ornaments. This suggests that the owner of the tomb in Songje-ri must have had close relations to Baekje royalty.
