The NRICH Hosts a Global Event “World Archaeology: Ancient Cities and Royal Capitals”
On July 20, the NRICH, in partnership with Weber Ndoro, the Director-General of the International Centre for the Study of the Preservation and Restoration of Cultural Property (ICCROM), organized an academic conference centered on the theme of “World Archaeology: Ancient Cities and Royal Capitals.” This conference was held in accordance with the MOU signed the prior month between the NRICH and ICCROM, focusing on cultural heritage conservation. The event encompassed four presentations and discussions, delving into case studies where ancient research and conservation policies concerning historic relics in renowned cities worldwide have contributed to local development. The NRICH is committed to hosting the World Archaeology conference annually.
